Vacation ending on its own

So I put my account on vac mode on saturday and last night someone contacted me via msn saying "welcome back" so after some questions it turns out my account had dropped off of vac mode.

In the input box I had put in 99 days of vac(the maximum) yet it dropped me off who knows when.

At 1st I thought it may have been a hack but after I logged in to my account finding nothing missing i dismissed that idea.

Its back on vac now and hopefully it stays that way. So this post is just to bring the issue to light

yes im sure I put 99 and it shouldnt really matter because it says that the number you put in there is not important as the game requires you to log in to come off vacation

Maybe they just lied to you to get you off vac mode?

SS, i always put 2 in, and mines been on VAC for about 5 days now, and still there (just checked :D )

Perhaps ask Jason or another admin, if they can get the IP access log of whom did it. And if it's someone unique, then change the PW etc.

That wouldn't be the first question people ask cause he said he put it on vac on Saturday.

I've heard of accounts sometimes coming out of vacation mode on their own and it's never known why.

I had mine of vac for 4 months which is over the 99 limit and it never once came off vac until i logged in.

I believe the exact same thing is happening to l3th4l in Shadow Knights. He's not been around for ages, then we see his account dissappear on vac....then a few days later suddenly reappear, but no ppt's ever used, not defence built....then a month later it disappeared on vac again.....to only appear a week later and again the account is not being used.

I have a feeling he's away thinking his account is on vacation...i guess hewon't be happy when he comes back

This needs to be a top priority if people coe back to find accs destroyed they might quit but i didnt know you dont have to put a time frame in for vac i thought you only get to vac a max of 99 days?

The number entered is irrelevant. Many times I've entered 2, and been away for longer then that.

And if 99 is maximum that's hardly fair, what if someone works in a remote location for 4 months :?

But yes, this is a vital thing to get worked out. However, it's hard to replicate the circumstances to test it

Easy:
Get a mate to check the alliance your in (see if your in the list)
Get someone whom has a relation with you OTHER then neutral, to view all accounts of same relation, and click your name, and view the black hole cusp message
Get someone to enter your ID into the search for ID box, when it says not found in active rankings, your Vacationed still

Hope this helps

Wouldn't exploring SGWs magically be exploring it through another's eyes too? (magic's eyes  )
