How many times have you played a online game that you have come across somebody that you cannot absolutely stand? I seem to find these people more and more frequently in FPS, and MMORPG's. What about you?

Let me describe my encounter for today so you can have a laugh.

I was playing Call of Duty 4 on Bog, against a entire clan called "WPG" or something, sitting with my M16 camping the bomb site on Search and Destroy..waiting for the enemy to come to me. 4 of my teammates instantly die to snipers, and another sniper is left on my team.

I drop one guy coming after me, run out the door, yadda yadda yadda..we end up killing all 6 of them. So I'm preparing for the next round.. I get a message from one of the other team. I listen to it, it says "Why don't you use something other then a M16 you <enter term for a homosexual person here>?" So I happily agree, pull out my automatic shotgun and rush in the bomb site door with my shotgun dropping 2 people with 4 slugs and 1 with a grenade. 3 remain..

Another comes to kill me, I drop him and find a sniper sitting in the bus. I use my silenced pistol to kill him, throw up my UAV and run 5 metres to the middle of the map and shotgun the last guy who also happened to be the guy who sent me the message.

I send him a nice reply "I did as you asked, ironic how I still beat you though..". After a while, his buddies and him leave the party chat and start talking **Filtered** about where I am from (Canada)..so I looked at their profiles one by one and found out something not so shocking.

Ready? THEY WERE AMERICANS! How many countless times have you been insulted by loud mouthed Americans on a online video game trying to act tough just because they want to be as good as you? I can't even count on my fingers or toes anymore.

Next couple maps go the same way..15-2, 12-1, etc etc. Eventually he keeps talking **Filtered** about "I'm 4632 on the score list bud. What about you?" , "How many weeks days months do you have played you no life?!", "You are a terrible <enter term for a homosexual person here>", pretty much every name in the book..after a while he got tired of getting whooped by me and left with his buddies.

EXPLAIN YOUR STORY! We all love to hear how badly people suck at video games and try to make up for their failures by talking **Filtered**.

It's worse when playing harcore and you always, always get one(usually a squeaky american kid) who deicdes he doesnt want to kill enemies but still wants to get kills. i once played with someone who had -140 and 2 normal kills before he left

i have only had people swear at me for massing them for no apparent reason....

I usually find the same thing... they call YOU the noob when you absolutely beat them silly... Riddiculous

I hardly ever play FPSs and never play MMORPGs so I've got no problem

There's plenty of self righteous people throughout the globe...we don't hold the monopoly on jerks...


I can't tell you how many times I've been insulted by people for just being from the U.S., as if that was all the evidence they needed to hate me.



As for my story...


When playing Halo 3, I'm not particularly good at straight up frags...so I don't go out looking for kills, I prefer to go for the objective games like Capture the flag, or assault...and it always amazes me when, after completing the objective, my own team yells at me for not getting kills...

I look at the score...I've captured two out of three flags...

Yet somehow I'm a noob who can't play...

For a time I figured that they were angry because they weren't getting points for the objective...so I played defense. On one, oh so very special, occasion I managed to defend the flag for twenty minutes, solo, while the rest of the team ran into the enemy base one at a time trying to capture the flag...

When I was finally caught with my pants down, and killed, my team starts screaming obscenities because I didn't stop the attack...

So, I decide to go on offense, and capture the flag while the other team is distracted by the stream of meat coming into the base...but without backup I'm not able to manage it again...so we lose...

After the game, I get downrated...

I wish I could say it was the other team being poor sports...but it's fairly obvious who it really was...

There's no pleasing some people...

it's all because you capitalist, corporate americans go to wars with poor countries to get oil and make money on them and torture ppl in guantanamo and flying them there through shannon airport..... (i'm being sarcastic of course)

I'm from USA and I insult myself all the time, does that count Noobert?

The people I hate are the people who suck. I almost always play Hardcore Headquarters, sometimes I play Hardcore Search and Destroy but that's only when I have friends to play with. I can't play non-Hardcore, it makes me wanna hurt something, I prefer people to die when I shoot them.

Anyways... about the sucky people. Ever seen about 5 team mates in the same spot, usually all noobs snipers in a noob sniper spot? Then some mediocre player on the other team comes along and either snipes like 3 at a time or someone with an SMG sneaks up and mows them down..... or even sometimes throws a grenade and gets a 5 frag kill

Usually I don't get the kind of people Noobert is talking about, but whoever mentioned the squeaky 8 year old kids that simply LOVE to kill their own team for no reason, I get them ALL the time. For some reason they get some kind of perverse pleasure from killing their teammates unprovoked even after they don't kill them back...

Talk to me on MSN while I am playing CoD and I will be swearing up a storm about the *explicit*s on my team and the

Point being! I never play Hardcore for that reason, nor do I really like playing Core without a party of at least 2 people simply because..you always get those noobs on your team that are either as dumb as fence post, look like they are playing with one hand on the controller, or watching them is like watching paint dry.

And why have I not heard Emp talk on the microphone? He must hate me.

Because I was too lazy to find the working one when I was playing with you.. like the 3 times that I have. Also you only play CoD past like 2am as well and I usually don't

I usually get on at 11 PM, and play till 1 AM..sometimes.

Unless my brothers a butthole and won't get off.
