Rest in peace Darren Sutherland

I was shocked to hear the sad news of Darren Sutherlands passing, only 27 was a great boxer and had just turned pro after the Olympics were he won bronze for Ireland in Beijing.
'Ireland has lost a sportsman of wonderful ability, a clever and popular man with a future of real potential. His early death deprives us of a magnificent talent. May he rest in peace

It was very sad listening to some old interviews of him on the radio today just after he won his bronze, he seemed so happy with just the bronze and still had the semi final to play, always seemed so cheerful.
I can't possibly think what was going through his mind for him to take his own life, but i hope he is at peace now.
My prayers are with his family and friends

RIP Darren Sutherland. A great loss to boxing and to Ireland. Unfortunately depression can ruin many peoples lives without others knowing the true extent of it
