I know that I used to do that, but I stopped some time ago. I'm curious on why do you people roleplay (or not).

currently like to roleplay 47% [ 16 ]
used to roleplay, but stopped 18% [ 6 ] x
never roleplayed 29% [ 10 ]
don't know what is roleplay 6% [ 2 ]

we likey this thread...

we like roleplaying... anyone interested in more roleplay can drop by the roleplay section... (see link in our sig...)

we do it because:

• we enjoy it
• this is a roleplaying game
• we've been doing it for about 3.4 years now...
• its fun
• we can disembowel people in it
• and more reasons than we can think of now...

Sometimes I insert a cylon smiley and my MS's name is Cylon Basestar, but thats all the "roleplaying" I do.

never have, and probably never will. i have no patience for it. lol. it drives me nuts pretending to be someone else. but i might give it a whirl in the future when i have more time.

I think every person has an online persona, that you could consider as roleplaying. I doubt anyone is the exact person they are in real life when they are online.

Not as much as I used to, sadly, or as when I was playing. There isn't too much capacity for it as a washed-up forum admin. I did throw an RP style post in that 'Human Resistance' thread, though, which I enjoyed writing.

Unfortuantely, due to the "technoboy incident" when I returned to the game, I was never able to write a "Norbe returns to game-land" story. So it all ended with the death of RepliNorbe for me.

Yep, usually 1/2 of each post is usually roleplay. It make the game more fun, than just 2 ppl fighting in a videogame. Become the charecter you want to be, and it drives you more.

You were good when you did it. Might want to give it a try again? Would be a shame if that numskull blocked the creativity of one of the few..
