Update:

Agapooka wrote:The Toolbar Calc is now available!

It allows you to calculate UP, SABs and MS upgrades in the same window as the game!

Clicking on the link below will bring you to a page where the toolbar loads along with the game's index page. Please note that viewing the index page logs you out if you're already logged in... I couldn't do anything about that.

Do you still use game tools/calculators?

I used to maintain a PHP calculator for this game and it's still available for use. (www.agapooka.uni.cc)

The question is: if I revamped it and started maintaining it again, would it be used?

If so, which features would you like to see added?

One idea I have in mind is to create a sort of toolbar interface using frames, so that the game and the calc could be in the same window. Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Ascended fleet costs is something I havent seen (though with stats rounded to the million all I know is I got 1 less DMU digit to convert into Ascended Life Force). Ill be back to fleets soon though

For something quick and simple like a UP calc or planet upgrade then I find Pookies is best. For anything indepth the Legocalc covers everything but has a lot of stuff the average user wouldn't need. Kvarga's calc is worth it's weight in gold for ascended.

All have their positives I suppose

I use it and I encourage my training alliance to use it.

MS strike and def power would be good to add, legocalc has it but only to 99k slots.

Doesn't my calc address the cost of buying MS weapon and shield slots? Could you clarify, duderanch?

I basically want to make my calculator even simpler to use and add more functionality, so, by all means, suggest away. Just be very specific! :D

I use lego, has more options, however its limited as to what you can figure out now. i would say that over 30% of the server can't use some parts, the boxes are big enough :P

A thought, in another game theres a tool bar that makes changes after the page loads, so you can see check things right on the page. If I can find it I will get some screenshots of what I mean... hmm where is it now.....

What do you mean by "the sabbing doesn't work"? Care to be more specific?

All it does is divide your covert by your number of spies to figure out how many spies it needs to match the opponent's covert, with the option of an alarm level modifier.

So, when you say it doesnt work, do you mean that you sent too few spies or too many? Don't send a car to the garage and say "it doesn't work", mate.

To the rest of you, thanks for some of the ideas. It looks like I'll have to check out Legocalc, although I have another idea... hmmm :-$

For Sabbing I always use yours. Best their is. Better then legocalc seeing it doesn't need the ascentions.

Don't know what Lithium is on about that sabbing doesn't work, it works perfect for me.

Thx again for this good tool.

I still use the Pookie one. :D

Maybe a calc for the Ascended Upgrades. i.e. how much or how many increases you can make based on how much LF Cache you have.

I thought it went up a fixed amount each click, but it doesn't, it seems to get bigger each time.
