this section will give a lot of tips on how to play:
viewforum.php?f=18
search tool is also your friend...
best bet ingame is finding a commander that is willing to help you out...
this section will help you there...

try to find a commander without many other officers (or even better, without any), as those are more capable of helping out...)
if you need any tips on what sections of the forum are interesting, feel free to post interests, and you'll be guided the right way...
the most peaceful sections are located near bottom in misc and in the middle at the race sections...

cheers to everyone, never been on a game like this where there are so many people and all willing to help
