Well I know most like myself are pretty much against cross server attacks, save for main/ascended since they are tied together.
But say main/chaos or main/beta are not.
And as such wars and things do not apply from one server to another. And should be looked apon as cowardice by the player making threat and attacks across servers.

has done just that and taken war from beta server as a reason to mass me and perhaps others on main, where there is no war between us. Heck I'm not even in the same alliance on both servers.
If you agree with me, pehaps share your opinon with philemon40 in any way you feel appropriate, based apon his actions. =0)
Or perhaps just express your opinion here. Maybe I'm wrong and have the total opposite feelings about this type of behavior in game.

Well.. I think the term 'pick your fights' comes up here.
You have to see the connections between everything, or at least live with the consequences.

It is the same person you attack/who attacks you.. which game you meet each other in is actually irrelevant.
If you beat me on f.x. Halo, for example, I might mass you. Talk about cross-platform gaming. *grin*
If you play me in my chess league and beat me, I might mass you.
Why not? If I can't take you anywhere but here, then here is where I'll take you.
As Sun Tzu said; adapt your warfare to the terrain.. or something like that.. if the terrain in f.x. Halo disallows an acceptable kill-rate against you, but the terrain in SGW allows for a quick victory against you.. then it is the more logical of choices to attack you in SGW, rather as seek you out in f.x. Halo and try to beat you there.
*Criticism with example: f.x. Halo is loads more fun as SGW, and as a consequence it might be more fun to fight you in Halo. *grin* In any case.. you get my point. If I want to brag about having beaten you.. I will fight you somewhere I am sure I can beat you.

(Of course, 'beating' someone in SGW is a bit.. off.)

I disagree with cross server attacks. Especially if it's related to beta and not conflict based on rudeness pm or something (then it would be logical that person would want to take it elsewhere if rudeness was involved). Afterall, beta is just for fun, there is no cash involved, no politics involved. Beta can be reset at any time by Jason to test new upcoming updates. It's not like ascended/main which are linked. Not even like quantum or origins, real servers too. Beta is nothing but fun. If you do cross server attacks, you take beta seriously. Which isn't intended to be so.

To me this argument just looks like someone not accepting defeat.

Being one of this kind not accepting defeat in games, I know of the subject!

The "how dare you beating me? You will pay a way or another for that!".

I did not realize you needed a reason to mass someone in the first place ... must have missed that memo

lol people STILL play beta?????
It is inevitable that if you play multiple servers using the same name that if you hit someone on one server it will spread to another server.

I think making a public statement in this manner on this subject is your right and anyone that says different is in the wrong. However I would point out that in doing it in the manner you have chosen, you risk negative repurcussions for yourself and your alliance/empire. Perhaps doing this whilst avoiding calling a specific player that happens to be one of the best in a specific empire would have been the best choice?
BUT HEY! Random mass time

This used to happen all the time with Quantum and probably still does except I don't play Quantum thus don't know.
You can be against it all you want but the fact remains, if you piss someone off on one server, and you have nothing on that server or are far too powerful for them or something, they are going to be looking at other ways of hitting you.
At least this is still the same game company...

Not so much anymore, Quantum's pretty much dead from lack of interest from Jason. Down to about 7-15 players online all time.

I personally don't like cross serving, but if someone pisses me off bad enough, I mass their name in every game I find it on, but that's very rare.
Your responsible for your actions whether it be on Beta, Ascended, Main, Quantum, Chaos, Forums or an Instant Messenger..

Seems to be a trend.
As for the subject, if you ask me bete is tied to main, since the last 4 or 5 massings I have recieved have been at the hands of some small player on main, and done for no reason, and of course, they never have anything left to mass back when they are done.
secondly. if you dont want cross server battles, then use different names and keep your mouth shut. Plain and simple.
FTR I do not condem nor condone cross server actions. I do belive there is a time for them, and a time to be the bigger person and not do it.

Cross server is natural, If they know you in another game or in RL

, prepare for them to take their vengence there..
And Why the hell are you playing beta, beta is for noobs or people with too much time on their hands.

Honestly, I've never taken a mass from Ascended to Main and stuff like this only if it was necessary (the player holds no stats, etc etc yadda yadda) to make an example to him to piss off.
