So, I dont know if this has been done before, But, id like to know, How many people here have obtained this rank? And if so, what was your most memorable moment along the way?

I am asking, cause we just had my brothers Court of honor tonight, and It brought back memories of my journey along the path to Eagle.

Well ill start off,

I AM AN EAGLE!

we werent interested enough back in the days we lived in the US to attempt that rank, but these days we're working on what amounts to the norwegian equivalent of eagle... (relatively new rank, so far less than 10 persons total having that rank...)
these days we do regret never being interested enough to finish rankings...

its an excellent rank though...

I obtained Eagle 3 years ago after being in scouts for over 10 years. There were a lot of memorable moments like pinewood derby's in cub scouts was my most enjoyable time in the lower ranks. I would have to say going to scout camp every year was the most fun for me. When you get to go swimming in the lake, hiking through the woods, and cooking all the time. It was fun doing shotgun and rifle shooting, learning how to make furniture and how to weave to finish these magnificent chairs they made us make that year. Doing COPE at scout camp was really fun though because you get to go white-water rafting and canoeing, rock climbing, cave diving, and some other fun stuff. The journey towards earning Eagle Scout was a whole lot more fun then just getting the rank.
