Shouldn't you get at least a few seconds of protection when you make an exchange on market?
I just lost over 400 million naq to someone 7,000 places above me.

In Quantum there is 60 minutes of PPT after making a market deal. It should have been the same in Main.

Eh 60mins seems a little long to me. Maybe 5mins? Assuming it's going to be there, but I can still see this being abused. So you go on an attacking spree, your bank fills up, but you got more to go, so go until your pretty sure your gonna lose it if you wait another sec, then go do something on the market, and you got an easy x amount of time to go do stuff. Or for selling weps, go do something on the market, sell em off real quick, get that next spy level. But on the other hand, it really does suck if somebody happens to notice you just when you do something.

I can't see anyway to prevent this from being abused, and will be more abused than it will help.

i think this is good idea the time should be 5 mins per 1 multiple, so if you get 2 multiples it should be 10 etc. 60 mins is too long

Unlucky - you got hit after making a trade - big deal! Happened to me too - but rather than blubbing about it on the forums I hit him back straight away - except he was just too damned quick and I only got back 191k from 393 million! LOL. I then sent the player a congratulations message, to which he replied that he was bagging himself because he knew I could hit him back! LOL!

As someone said - it's a war game - and things like getting hit just after making a trade happen in reality. Deal with it. Personally, I hope forum never implements protection in main.

a short time on ppt after a market trade would be good. but it should be 5 to 10 minutes for all multiple trades.

dudes i agree i just did a market turn i swapped 14.4k uu for 880 mill so that i could buy my next spy level and well i had around 200 million some how after the deal so i had to gusses how many weaopns to buy and i spent loads on up but if i had had time i could of put more on up instead of worring and having to buy loads of weapons.

i think 5 minuites is enough

But back to the old scenario of abusing PPT. 5 minutes is a long time when you think about an entire alliance transferring naquadah to a single player

90 seconds... If you know what you're doing then that's ample time to do it and not enough time for it to be abused. A nice little timer would be nice too.. oh and five grand cash for me please.

as said above, if you get an entire alliance to trade off 14k or so UU, and send it all to one person....boom spy levels 23..24...etc etc

I dont believe there should be.Do what i do. If i am trading for NAQ... I do this.
Open up the market in a new window. Then go to wahtever screen you are going to spend it. Do teh ransfer and quickly head to teh other page and do the transfer.
Always worked for me.
