just wanted to be sure of that
I'm just not a fan of having something random / different as race name but still wanting to be considered a different race, espacially as the host doesn't have much to say.

That is because you do not listen to your hosts, Goa'uld. You are all too obsessed with the physical body, and pick inferior persons. A good host, like Ayiana, is worth listening to. Without her, I would have been less wise. I have learned a lot from her that has helped my children. well said, my dear Egeria.

we do have the knowledge of our hosts, if we listen to them or not. So why should we?

there are many reasons, goa'uld. Understanding. Wisdom. Companionship. Comprehension. Free will.
I suppose many of these terms are useless and inconsequential to you, are they not?
