Background
* Amanda Tapping confirmed that she agreed to appear in the Atlantis movie.
* The Wormhole drive is confirmed to be used in this movie.
* According to Joseph Mallozzi, "Weir's story ended in Ghost in the Machine. The character will not be appearing in the movie."
Production
* Joseph Mallozzi stated: "I can't predict whether an ongoing series of Atlantis-based movies will prove successful". "However, if the performance of the two SG-1 movies is anything to go by, the audience is out there."
* Joseph Mallozzi stated: "While I like the idea of some crossover, I think SG-1 movies should be SG-1 movies and Atlantis movies Atlantis movies," he said. "Two movies of each a year would be a true best case scenario."
* Joseph Mallozzi stated: "The number of Stargate movies produced each year will depend in part on scheduling." "I think that we could produce as many as three Stargate (either SG-1 or Atlantis) movies a year," said he. "Four is a long-shot, but very possible."
This taken from the stargate wikia...I just hope it'll be good!

I think its going to be really Epic becuase by now or the last epidsode they had 4 ships and atlantis at earth meaning they are planing a invasion of a planet some where and bet the rest of the traverlers show up during the battle or when they see a armarda of ancient tech in space.
Theres still like 40 hive ships out there and god knows how many cruisers so they must find a weapon what turns all wraiths into human send it through the galaxy at once like they did at decara when destroying replicators.
This is what i think anyway.

you mustnt forget, the wraith have a civil war going, so the hive ship count is probably closer to 25-30... if not lower... (but its still a formidable power... especially with the cruisers added in...)

Well imo, it's going to be less about the wraith. Didn't the RepliAscendedWeir tell the Atlantis Team that there were numerous other technologically advanced societies they have yet to encounter?
I would much rather have them elaborate on them, trying to ultimately destroy the wraith with their combined technologies (Kinda like how the 4 great races combined to show the Goa'uld their power), than have it solely another Atlantis vs Wraith battle.

When did that happen?
