Home Antivirus 2010 has declared war on my computer...

Thankfully, I have risen to the occasion! With great patience I have hunted down every last trace of the hellspawned program and eradicated it from my computer! :smt064

Yet still it fights back! Every time I go forth to purge it's unholy presence, it seeks a new hole in which to hide and nurse it's wounds...only to return when I least expect it... :smt076

I am in need of a weapon to defeat this foe once and for all! Who can aid me!

(yeah...I'm writing this from the computer lab at school now...)

In a word...yes...

However, I have since found my weapon! Avast, the antivirus made by pirates!(as far as I care)

The foul virus has been scrubbed and I am now back in operation!

...

Ok...I'm done being all overly dramatic now...time to play my computer games...

lol. I wonder how it got onto your computer in the first place :smt047

Other than that... Malwarebytes' Antimalware usually works. :-D

another program we've used to remove annoying remnants of things we've once had installed, is "revo uninstaller"... it much easier to use than the one inherent in windows, and its not quite as time-consuming to start up... (it also removes those things that dont have an uninstaller or have one that doesnt remove fully...)
