I'm still far from ascescion, but I'm noticed that some people are answering to the never ending questions about ascension that if you ascend with more the just 2000 ascension points, that you get some bonuses. If someone knows what does bonuses are, please reply.

Basically Ascention is your main account loosing X and you getting a NEW account on the Ascention server with Y. Your main account is weakened so many only want to ascend with the minimal requirements to keep the damage as low as possible, however, if you ascend with more you get more "points" for your new, ascended account.

I guess it really depends how much you want to be a big-shot on the Ascention server, if you plan to be powerful then you may well want to over do your requirements, if not, just do the bare minimum so you have less rebuilding on the main account.

I do not have an ascended account myself, this is what i have gathered from the forum so don't take it as gospel, hehe.

The bare minimum is 1800 but by the time most people are ready to ascend, they have 5K-8K so I wouldn't worry. The ascended server has a RPG aspect to it (more so then SGW. Think NWN) and your APPs go to upgrading it. Just take my word for it when I say 8K of APP's will go a LONG LONG way in boosting your ascended account.

That would probably be for those whove stayed in the top ranks for long time, especially those who are top 100 or higher players, with high amounts in mothership, covert, supers and glory and rep points.

I never got higher than about 250, and had about 5k points until I sold off that I could, and moved my UU out. Even then I had over 3.5k points then, just on the stuff I could'nt sell.

Anyway, I am happy with both ascension and main (your main account resets, all you start with is a PPT bonus, and 1 glory and rep point), everything else needs to come from whatever you shipped out before you ascended.

THX. I alredy know all the basics. I took my time reading a lot of post on ascencion. Just wanna know the specific bonuses you get by ascending with more Ascension Points then needed.

So...
Is it better to wait and accumulate APP/bonus's?
Or to go ahead an ascend and get things rolling upstairs?

it would sound as if you are suggesting we wait a little bit...

unless im mistaken you lose your race bonus and get 5% to all 4 bonuses(atk, def, income and spy) and each ascension afterwards gives 5% more, i also heard the unique can double atk, i havent ascendedso this is just what i heard trickle down the grapevine
