okey, i'm gonna post it here aswell so noone has an excuse in the future.

the ombudsman section is for serious debate and serious debate only. if you want to post in it your post has to contribute to the discussion. if it doesn't it has no purpous in the section.

up until now we have been flexible with the rules but that's over, from now on ppl will get verbal warnings for a first offence in our section (the warning will be added to our usernotes and will count until the usernotes are deleted) and a full warning for a 2nd offence.

those who are willing to help the debate about cases along are always free to come and post, just keep to the ombudsman section rules.

hmmm... an interesting point. Surely any post made is actually a contribution to the conversation... although if we're going to be picky.. who decided whether it's a relevant contribution opposed to spam?

I am assuming the people elected to be in control of and look after that section and have been trusted with the responsibility of being fair and unbiased. But im just the understudy ;). The "Free to post rule" has been implemented for a reason but some posts in there are easily distinguishable as spam.

Do Not Spam This Thread. It is *just* a notification. Any questions as to the notice are to be directed at the Ombudsman, Zeekomkommer, and/or his understudy, Man Called Jim.

This will stay for a few days, or until Earendil decides otherwise.
