I dare say with ME in main, in particular the fact it's ranked, showed a side of the gaming population that a lot of us dont actually enjoy putting up with. in any case, the ascended server as far as I know is in a condition where ME rankings would be meaningless, people being impossible to descend etc, attackers bouncing off of defences etc,
imo ME might be okay, BUT before then, the game needs to be fixed, and even then, if it encourages behaviour like what we see in main, we'd be better off without it....

the only reason mai is stuffed with ME chasers is because its ranked if we get rid of the ranking system it might be ok.

Yes from me.
I do not believe that ranked ME has affected main adversely. In my eyes, the rot which now festers in both servers was there a long time before that feature was implemented. I also feel that the behaviour encouraged by ME is positive rather than negative. I believe that anything which encourages people to play the game is a good thing.

Whether ME is ranked or not, it gives players the ability to still keep a record of what they kill, thus, giving them more than enough reason to mass randomly to "show off" there killings to either there friends, peers, community, ect.
Main was devistated by this. Yes, before it had people that randomly massed, but now, you gave everyone more reason to kill units and accounts.

Some of us actually build something, rather than sit with 15billion planets untrained. I would hardly think driving the (comparatively) few people who actually build something towards the default option of sitting with nothing will spur some activity on the game.
