my keyboard's doing funny things. it types like this:
my ke3ybo9ar4d's do9i8ng fu7nny thi8ngs. i8t typ0e3s li8ke3 thi8s.
for example when i press 'q' i'm getting 'q1'. when i press '1' i'm also getting 'q1' here when i delete the 'q' it still means q even if it shows '1' - i have 1 in my email password, had to use numpad where 1 is not screwed.

the3 problem also exists i8n a safe mode and only some keyes are 'married'.

happened out of the blu7e, witho9ut any speciffic reason (i mean i didn't spill anything on my laptop, hit it or somethi8ngP)
:?

ah.. i'm after running spyware terminator and virus scans - nothing foud

If you're using a laptop it sounds like you're using the fn key. If you're not hitting that it may be possible this key is stuck. Seems to me the keys are all in numeric order in the top row. If you have no fn I'm not sure what to tell you.

ok. it took me some time to figure this out. i had to disassemble the entire keyboard and treat everything with air duster and other cleaning stuff. and then put it back together right way (this was the hardest part).
so it's back to normal.

and a piece of advice: don't buy dell laptops.
