Normally if you are autobanned it doesn't let you hit, but halfway through I noticed my rank and was like. Is this the secret new present I get from admin?

It's more likely his browser bugged, and allowed him to enter too many numbers in a field, or some such thing.

It would not be the first time, the autoban triggers, but allows the person to remain ingame at rank 0, until they log out/logged out after 3 hours.

Yes it's a bug, but unlikely to be something sinister when there's a simpler explanation.
