Speculations about Farm Fest anyone?

Are we even going to have the ability to generate enough PPT NAQ at this point, with the adjustments to Weapons to be able to BUY enough Attack to have a high enough Offense to defeat the basic Defense of the Inactive Farms?

Also, Farm Fest should be MUCH longer this Era, I have gotten estimates of people coming off PPT in 15 hours or so, to people not coming off of PPT for another 26 hours! That is almost 20-22 Turns worth of Farm Fest from what I can estimate at this time...

If the average Inactive Farm already has over 10-15 Million of natural Defense built up by now, and my Pathetic Attack sits at barely a half million, then, I could not raise enough NAQ in 50-60 more hours of Initial PPT to buy enough Attack to farm an Inactive at this point...
(Affy sobs silently to himself, despondent over the thought of a 'Farm Fest' sans Bad Affy...)

Its a problem we are all going to have, but like I said in the other thread, I remain convinced that this era needs a reset before we can actually start playing...

And guess what affy, by the time we come off PPT, most inactive defences are likely to have doubled, due to auto growing defence techs that add to defence at the rate of 50k per tech (mine are @ 110 atm, yours should be too)...

(50k x 110 = 5.5 million defence + race bonus between 30-50%)
which means an inactive asgard account would have a defence of almost 8 mill right now, with another 24 hours of PPT remaining...

lol, don't worry, at least everyone's in the same boat at the moment.... so theoretically the farm fest will happen, on the greater part, the same way it always does, the more experienced, bigger, faster farming, ever watchful individuals will inevitably end up taking more than their fair share of the NAQ... Only difference is this era, instead of being to instantly able to strike at the vast sums of NAQ that are out when the PPT's start to end they will instead be forced to diligently build their strikes as quick as they can because they are smart enough to know that if they are the first to get a strike powerful enough to farm with that they will make a KILLING, and depending on how close everyone else is with building their strikes they could have a fair crack at hitting the entire server....

Its *2.1 because the tech % bonus comes into effect aswell

But after all that.. I have 2 pieces of good news.

1st is good news for me.
I will have enough strike to farm when I come off PPT


2nd piece of news is good for every1 else.
I wont be around a computer when I come off PPT

Have you taken into account the techs growing over the next 24 hours until PPT's start to end??
I havent really been watching how much the techs jump per day, but its probably around 30-40/day ??
I could be wrong...
But so, add another 40% to your estimate, then beat that with your strike

As a goauld I cant even come close!!
Tauri accounts will be able to farm easily though...

Ive taken everything into account.. and its not that hard.. but if you wasted naq on def weps / UP / covert / anything other than strike it could be impossible xP

thats where i've gone wrong... spent b4 i really looked at what i should have done...

and i'm also not going to be around at the "farm fest" (or lack there of) this era

Could we change Race to Tauri just for Farmfest?? Then change back?
(Affy's poor measly Quantum fried brain is cooking... His older, old man river brain cells not capable of coping...)

Changing Race would still not get me high enough to Farm even the lowest Inactives...

Didn't realise that i'd need to spend 3 days of PPT naq on weapons only in order to be able to farm an inactive account...

Oh yes, and what of when the massing starts, if you have no naq in the bank, and you've just been sabbed/massed to zero stats, how the hell are you supposed to rebuild when you cant farm anybody!!!!

strongest weapons gives you more power then smaller and if you are tauri you'll get more. obviously.

enjoy the farm fest you nubz and i expect 10% from everyone later cause i'll miss the farming.

And by the start of Farm Fest your Attack will fall about 5-6 Million below what is required to Farm...

Usually, you'd be able to buy a single weapon, and farm to your hearts content (as long as your not stupid enough to mass it )

But from where I stand now, I cant farm anybody.... and i've spent 24 hours saving to buy weapons that don't do anything for me >_<

you cant sab 1 weapon sleepy, not even 2 which will be more than enough to farm inactives.
