u can train 1 super soldier guy, depending on ur race for 91000 naq in total and train 1 normal person for 2000 in total and yet the super guys only do 2wice as much damage, so can u just train twice the amount or normal ppl? or is the only advantage that u buy less weapons?

Less weapons would mean you are saving naq so just train super soldiers and you save naq....

Each super doubles the strength of the weapon, not double the strength of the regular soldier.

There are some threads on this.

What you must understand is that the cost of the weapon must be included with the cost of the soldier.

You will find then, that a SS with the best gun costs only 150% that of a Merc and the best gun.
However, the SS is 200% more effective.

I.e.
Here are the costs:
156,000+91,000 = 247,000 SS
156,000+3500 = 159,500 Merc
156,000+2000 =158,000 TU


Damage (Based on replicators):
1X2560X2.5575X1X10 = 65,472 SS
1X2560X2.5575X1X5 = 32,736 Mercs
1X2560X2.5575X1X5 = 32,736 TU (may actualy be a little less i'm not sure)
As you can see SS do twice the damage, for under twice the cost.




One final example:
For every million in defensive power (for reps) It will cost about 3.8 million worth of SS and weapons.
HOwever, for every million power in Mercs it will cost around 4.8 million.
I.e. After 100million Def power worth of SS you will have saved 100 million naq AND be doing more damage than if you had gone with mercs/ut.

I make no guarantees about the acuracy of my math.

Basically, if you sell all of your mercs, and use that Naquadah alone to train SS, your Strike (or Def action, respectivly) will increase.

plus SS gives u a smaller army so ur a smaller target for the enemy

And they have half the death rate anyway.
