The artillery of **** fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict devastating damage on Byrnes's forces! So much damage, in fact, that while fleeing Byrnes's fleets could not accurately judge the extent of the beating...
It was confirmed that The defences of the planet held up under attack!
18 defence facilities, though, in the course of the battle.
Your Fleet strength went from 115,600 to 0. In short, they were completely annihilated! This amount is directly related to the fire power on the planet.
The forces of ****** slaughtered those of Byrnes
The fleets of Byrnes flee from Dakara! One could see glory on the face of the victors, and spite on the defeated! Dakara will not be conquered...this day!
There is no defences how is there fire planet coming from the planet?

its not a bug it is a platform. if you read your log again you will see that it says how many defence facilities you destroyed. so build more fleets and you will be able to mass the platform

Its a platform, and a weak one at that (only loosing 18 defense).
Have a look at the game log, i think it says somewhere, that "an invisible force seems to add power to the planets defense". At least that's what i thought happened when you hit a platform

I have the same problem on 4 of his planets. I built 20K fleets, just to test, and he wiped them out, on all 4 planets.
