simon cowell is a brilliant man!
i'd much prefer the x factor song to win, just for fact, the person that wins the show deserves some fame.

Didn't someone try to do this last year with the Jeff Buckley version of Hallelujah and fail miserably?
It's a lost cause. Too many people are stupid, and too many people are lazy. Half of the people that join the facebook groups and 'twitter' about this will be too idle to actually buy it when push comes down the shove. The people that do have the initiative to buy things, the morons, will be eating up that X-Factor drivel instead. Not a hope in hell of this happening.

tbh it doesnt really matter who wins. they are on tv. which means they are gonna be recognised no matter what. AKA they are gonna get there shot at fame either way. lol.
I would watch the show every now and then but would bother following it. i work in a pub so thats where i watch most of it, the regulars like it. lol.

Well, there we go. I have egg on my face, though.
It's ironic that band which sold out, and has probably contributed more money to Sony than all of the X-Factor contestants combined, has become the pin-up for a generation disaffected by Record Industry cynicism.

Mordack, whats funny is all the people saying 'Buy Rage! Stop Cowell getting $$!', the funny part is Cowell owns a MASSIVE stake in the company that did that song... for Rage... and he obliviously has the most in Joe... all this competition, just got him more money this x-mas than he ever could of done with just one singer.
Two of his acts just went head to head and he got most the £! hahahahah so come on, Rage fans, be honest... Ya'll feeling pretty stupid right now, aint ya...
