i got a warning for writing S.L.U.T.Z apparently masking, this was Earendil, surely he should know whats filtered or isn't
when **Filtered** is not even filtered so can i have my warning removed please

Admins can hardly be expected to remember every possible word that needs masking. Also, placing a "z" on the end is a blatant method of avoiding the filter.

A certain word, with an added diacritic above the U, isn't filtered but it is still not allowed.

the warning was not for masking, but for profanities, so the post very possibly is breaking the pg 13 rule.

and post the whole post.

even putting s or z on it was masking as the word itself is filtered, so it was masking.

Actually, no he didnt not. Look at the user notes on TT Jim. Thats what he was warned for. Profanity. I supose we can add the masking also?

Up until 10 minutes ago it wasn't even added to the filter any versions of the word... thus it wasn't masking at the time. Profanity sure.. but it wasn't added to the filter until after the the topic was made.

it was added to the filter long ago... the filter entry wasnt added properly...

it had the singular form, but no wildcard at the end to take any plural form...

Still Zeratul that's a mistake on the admins part, a second ago Jim posted all variations of it and all of them came up unfiltered...

even the normal word without the ty or the Z

The normal word was posted by Jim after this topic was made, I saw it.

It came up in his post three words.

Normal Word, word with an s, the one TT used.


NONE OF THEM WERE FILTERED.

Correct, it did not have an S on the end when i posted.

TT may have not tried to avoid the filter by masking as the base word with the S was not filtered. If he had typed the word without the Z he would have found it was allowed. TT often adds Z's to the end of words i believe anyway?

Actually, I was replying to Zeratul and Tetrismonkeys post each time, you posted yours while I was typing both times.

Also I agree with profanity, but the comment about him recieving two warnings, one for profanity and one for masking by Tetrismonkey was a little far fetched considering none of the words were filtered at the time...
