I had this one question for very long, but didnt know if anyone was knowledgeable to answer this..
so heres my try..
many religions say that when u die you go to heaven or other places..
so
when people die, are they just gonna pile up in heaven endlessly forever and ever?
i wanna know if any1 know and knowledge regarding this with some proof maybe, where its written in some sort of a religious book or something?
Thanks!!

As I understand it, most religions which believe in heaven veer toward it being more personal. I was under the impression that your heaven would be catered toward you; with everything you want. Your friends, your family, or 99 virgins waiting and ready. I'm not sure the concept of heaven as we understand it is going to suffer from overcrowding or stretched accomodations levels. It's ethereal, magical almost. Paradise eternal.

Only for Islam.Christian Heaven brings you enlightenment with all that deserve to be there with you and God, you won't need sex or food or anything like that since you have surpassed your condition as a mere human...

Few religions are definite about the size of Heaven, but on the planet Earth the Book of Revelation (ch. XXI, v.16) gives it as a cube 12,000 furlongs on a side. This is somewhat less than 500,000,000,000,000,000,000 cubic feet. Even allowing that the Heavenly Host and other essential services take up at least two thirds of this space, this leaves about one million cubic feet of space for each human occupant ... This is such a generous amount of space that it suggests that room has also been provided for some alien races or -- a happy thought -- that pets are allowed
theres some food for thought

If heaven is a land of paradise as mordack describes, what if a member of my family was a mass murderer? Deserving to be damned in hell for all eternity, yet for my paradise to be complete it would include them... does that give the murderer a get out of jail free card, or will my paradise be forever incomplete?
That is a good point, but maybe, the heaven would be just our imagination that seems too real. that would be like each one of us have our own virtual reality, just as we want it.
also, when i say "piled up", i mean the fact that we all go to our paradise and live there forever.
Doesn't it seem a little not like paradise and more of a cage if we are to reside there FOREVER and EVER.. when does it end?
better question might be, would you rather live on earth where you create your own paradise, or in heaven where you are given everything to be there forever....
maybe there are more choices that we dont really know about when we get up there?

Paradise cannot be understood by us in this state,as humans...Its like asking how would it be if i lived forever?Whatever you imagine would be wrong...

Since you`ve mentioned it, I`d like to go on record to say that the whole islamic notion of paradise boiling down to 72 (not 99 btw) virgins is greatly misconstrued, simplified, stereotyped and to a degree villified in the context of our "cultural clash".
It`d be like getting hung up on the bible passage about J.C. going ahaed to make room for us in the house of the lord (something like that) and concluding that cristian heaven was a big 5 star hotel.
You choose to regard christian heaven as something more metaphysical than the islamic one simply through your interpretation and nothing more, you take one litterary and allways look to hidden meaning in the other.
And it seems to me that real heaven, if it exists, is bound to be the combination of what all abrahamic religions promiss. Afterall, they speak of the same god, sare the same prophets etc.

Faith doesn't have to answer questions. That's its point.
I believe Ashu's point is a concession, made by people of all spiritual persuasions, that there are things that we cannot yet comprehend.
Religion is of course personal. I personally choose to be Catholic, and I think that my eternal destiny will reflect that.
Heaven is whatever you want it to be. That is its purpose.

Why should heaven be what you want it to be? The fact is you do not know what its going to be like, it might be lush or a **Filtered** hole.
Personal question, why do you, yourself, feel the need to judge what other men feel about god as in religons, is not believing in god on your own terms enough? Just curious?

Interesting point.
My Heavenly desire is to be amongst my family for eternity, but my brother is an unrepentant axe-murderer. I would experience the eternal love and companionship of my kin, my brother would experience it too; because all he wants is to kill people, and an everlasting tea-party with jam and scones and no killing would be his eternal torment.
EDIT: I'm not judging anyone. Just postulating a philosophy.

but that takes us to my question:

Well Christian Heaven isn't you'r own personal Heaven. On the Second Comming everyone from hell with the exception of suicidal people and some that have done really bad things will be forgiven and go to Heaven.
