Took a look and my mind asked me wth I was looking at
Sorry it's been two years since first year university, all my chemistry knowledge has fallen away like bits of wet cake

seems like SGW can be split into three categories
1. people who never took chem
2. people who took chem recently but have no idea what happened
3. people who took chem 8-40 years ago and know some random bits of it

for 36 (b) should be correct, you simply need to arrange them in order of decreasing intermolecular bonds
for 39, construct a Born-Haber diagram, from a very brief glance i would say (a). Given the nature of the question (your not required to calculate/lookup any other enthalpies - vaporisation etc)
if you want, i can go over them for you, will take me a few days to find the time, but i should be able to manage most of them
