Well there are a few of us 23 ascension guys and girls around now, so my question is - what do you do with your account now?

Are you building a massive raw? High covert levels? Etc. Or keeping everything low for the next ascension, whenever that may come out...

I myself couldn't resist going for lvl 33 covert as low covert was the bane of my ascending life. Doubt i'll go higher than 220k raw tho...

Finally finding the time to work on the MS, have enough naq saved for level 35 covert but resisting the temptation atm

As for more ascensions, jason intended it to go to 25, as a final rounded figure, to be released over time. When questioned though, he is reluctant to go further, and says he likely won't.. .& now he's firm & fully decided.

However, that's also the same response he gave for lg+1, ag & origin being the 'final' ascension, so i'd take it with a pinch of salt

Give it another few months & i imagine unknown will be a lot more common.

Was it worth it?

Now before you go and say oh yeah I got insane bonuses, think about it. If you stayed at LG or AG before the ascentions really started getting add on to how high could your UP be today? What about your covert and ac levels? What about your MS?

Me personally, I'm not ascending. Yeah I'm gonna be at the disadvantage if I got up against someone with a 23rd ascention account or some high number like that. But I'm I'm willing to sacrifice. Plus it'll be more fun in my opinion.

So whatcha think?

Well, i've been fighting a few big LG+1's recently and after online battle's 90% of them said the same thing 'I'm going to have to start ascending again'.

Getting AB 8times in a row, if your attacking or defending is always useful.

The 17% or whatever it is bonus to stat's i haven't really noticed as it's just 1 percent each time although i'm sure if you put my stats next to an lg+1's stats you would notice a difference.

In the end i would say it is worth it

Naq - 230t (ish I think)

What I could have gotten with above resources:

UP - Another 215k raw (another 179million UU - where starting UP was 535k, raised to 750k)

Ascension UU cost = 300million-ish sacrificed at ascension.
Total UU ascension cost 179m + 300m = 479m

So 479million UU * 520b/million = 250trillion naq

So cost of Ascending = 450trillion naq

Well I would have gotten my MS above 3trillion... and one more covert and AC level.

Currently now, ascended to Unknown:
Cost for most peoples to mass my defence = 2-3 times my number of supers. So my defence = 1million supers, say 2.5million killed each massing, so with no weapons costing that's 1.53trillion per massing, lost in UU alone. Whereby for me INCLUDING weapons cost it's 1.2trillion to build entire defence. With weapons cost to mass 2.93trillion.

Now yes, the cost of ascending is 375 massings (cost for me) but the cost to the enemy is much more. And build up of other resources and higher defences equates to more death and cheaper for me.

So was it worth it, yes! Besides I probably would have fittered the naq and UU away massing stuff anyway.

In all cases calculations have been rounded up.

I'm at prince now and it's worth it from what I can tell up till now ... but we'll see once I'm an unKnown ...

It's just about the tag. It's a status thing beyond LG+1 and not so much about the stat bonus.

me personally? well, i have some time until then, but i will probably get some income planets, build an army composed solely of miners, and get the biggest Ms in the game.

Think of it this way then, say you hold back your stats cause next week Jason could say ok 24th ascension is up hey you win, on the other hand, this game never stops, resources are ready available, if you build up now and he introduces it next week then you just have to raid/farm what you lose, however if it takes him a year to do it, you come out way on top.

I believe that ascending wasnt supposed to go past 20, but as someone found a glitch and used it to ascend past that point, he just added the extra 3 in.

@JMX, for now an LG+1 can easily mass down someone whos 23 x ascended because of that crappy 1 AT massing crap, (or have someone else do it for them) if Jason pulls his finger out and says ok 5 AT's min, then that LG+1 is going into a world of hurt trying to take that 23 ascended guy out.

it depends on your veiw it's another 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other

I'm building up my UP a bit, selling some more naq, massing the heck of everyone, helping my friends get to where I am..that's mostly it

the 1 AT massing thing if you're talking about having a considerably smaller strike than the def then yeah it's crap. I use 1 AT when massing, but my strike is bigger by at least 2-300 bil than the def.

If he does introduce that I may begin ascending again, who knows. Im one step below AG and have 7k GnR sitting around. I just honestly hate ascending. Maybe it'll be more fun and more of a challenge if I stay like this and go against someone with a 23 ascention account.

Dont worry Tek. Some of the best playersin this game were unascended and stayed that way on purpose and gave LG+1's nightmares since that was the highest ascention at the time.

Pinomutt2000 was unascended for a long time and was a beast
