http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/4125 ... lapse.htmlthere are so many smoke signals going up such as the Chinese, Indians, Arabs and others pulling out of the US dollar, and way toooooo many articles about the dollars demise, i'm getting the feeling that we are being conditioned to accept its final demise and a new single currency is inevitable.
things are happening on so many fronts and still cant believe every one is walking around with blind to all of it.
anyways...

I still fail to see the tragical downside to the dollar being replaced by a currency based on a basket of currencies. It cant serve the nwo any more than the dollar allready does, it`d just be a tad less... american.

check out gold. last year when i first posted about the bankers and whatnot, i did state gold was the way to go, it was at 800 and something $ an ounce back then, its now over $1100 if not 1200 since i last checked the price.
i've been listening to market experts and they all agree on 1 thing, gold at current market value should be over $2500 dollars and some say even more than that.

Yeah, if I wanted to invest, I'd use silver. Silver has much more potential, seeing as no more mines are being discovered and the demand is rising because of its increasing use in technology.
I'm using euros now, because I'm in continental Europe at the moment.

You don`t need a financial expert to tell you prices of rare metals go up in crisis heh.
Thoe at the end of the day, its all a matter of "trust" that something has inherit "value". Paper obviously looses that trust faster than shiny metals but its a small step once you get that far up the creek without a paddle heh. If ever currencies as such go, the entire monetary trade system will go and gold will just as useless. You can make a prifit nowadays thoe if you`re clever, that much is true.
Man I cant wait for us to get to the utopian technocracy level.

precious metals have always been sort after and in over 2000 years have lost ZERO value whatsoever...when (not if) paper money goes the way of the caveman, why would PM's (precious metals) go the same way?
ah, my bad, if the entire global economy collapses along with the monetary system, there is only one thing that will be worth more than PM's, and that's heirloom seed.

Speaking of precious metals, is anyone else sick of seeing those adverts on TV encouraging you to send in your gold/silver etc for cash?
