The last game update was in Sept 2009 , that's a long time ago. I think that there are a lot of good suggestions posted on this forum that should be taken in consideration.

Why isn't Jason doing something ?

He wants to loose all the players?

What you say is nothing new.

Jason doesn't visit the forums, so the only place to really talk to him is in the IRC meets.

But I can't say that we haven't tried.

Well i'll put it this way, there's other things I am more unsatisfied about.

But if you think that people in this community haven't tried to talk about this game with Jason over and over again then you really don't know the history.

Have you tried talking to him? Givwe it a try, then come back here and tell us.

You mean like the alliance bank update is coming? Thread started in may of 08' so its been a year and seven months.

Very few are satisfied with this game as it stands, and Admins inactivity and uncaring is driving more and more people away. Heck when you tell him about a bug for weeks/months and he doesnt bother to fix it until it is majorly exploited, if even then, it shows how much he cares.

As long as hes bringing in $$ he won't do anymore then he does now.

yeah last time i asked him about alliance bank a few weeks ago:

Somebody bug me to go the the next IRC meet when its about to happen? i always forget...

Seen it happen with other games like SGW, Admins get bored and just leave the game. Eventually unless the admin brings in good updates, people leave.

Personally i don't really want new updates, the game is "fine" now. At least i don't see any ways to make it better.

Several good points are raised in this thread.

Yes several updates are LONG overdue. And there are many others people would love to see.

But we could update the game constantly really. There's always ways to better improve something. Not saying that we need some done already. Alliance bank. Ascension [ if any], races ect.

But also it is true that as long as GW brings $$$, it will stand as it is. I say screw the reset servers for awhile! Give us the updates we need in main, and do something with ascended.

Quantum is the only reset server that Jason does (SGW related). So he'd probably actually have to ignore ALL of the other games he admins (no idea how many this is) in order to really provide the game updates that SGW and Ascension needed.

Chaos is handled by Heph and Virgil (separate parties that are partnered with Jason but only run Chaos here). If you are interested in providing ideas for a re-architecturing of Chaos I know that Heph would love to hear ideas (along with the why's behind those ideas). In fact he's even set up a topic for it. So while it may be a resetable, resetables do provide a place to workshop ideas that could be converted into a non-resetable.

Coincidentally, observed admin posted that he is back (a few days ago - Jan 23rd).

Yes he's back, but what does that mean?
To most people it means nothing because they see him as often when he's here as when he's on holiday.
