Who was your teacher/mentor?

A simple question, who was your teacher/mentor, whatever you want to call it, the player that taught you the most about Quantum?

I'd have to point out 2 players in my case...
Grizzly is definitively the one that taught me the most about game mechanics and tactics. I remember him being my commander and having different competitions (I think it was around 3rd era)..We all had to push our UPs as far as we could and he gave the winner enough naq to buy a MS which cost 45 mil naq at that time and it was a huge amount of naq (for example, at the end of the era you were hitting people for 3 mil naq) and I won the competition..it was like..wooow, a MS :-D He taught me about the importance of UP and income which is still the most important thing to have.

Second player that I've learned a lot from was mastertkd. He taught me how important is diplomacy and mutual agreements with possible rivals and enemies.

Disappeared? Have you not heard the prophecy?

Prophecy wrote:One day, the great and glorious Zaphor shall return from his Studies, and reclaim his Glory as it has always been.
All those who await The Return with anticipation shall be rewarded with advise, in the form of his newly learned tactics. But those who doubt his return, shall be punished. For it is blasphemous to doubt the prophecies.

Or something like that

I can also add to kikaz. I talk with alot of ppl and did things my own way. Peace was something that I tried at first but as anyone knows it doesn't last long in this game, as you will always get screwed in the end. But I would have to say Scott(Legoin, Shadow Dragon), kikaz, Hippy and even mean old Bebita were all influences in my game...in one way or another. So from all you that I didn't mention.

In my case I would have to list too many people. But the people who had the biggest influence, would have to be Shadow Dragon for the majority of game play tips things to do and not do. And S1eepy for teaching me not to take crap. ;). And also I would have to throw Armed in the mix as well and a few others last era they showed some honor and class in allowing those of us who could not farm for a while the ability to build some NAQ and atleast try to be some what competitive.
