I have come up with a suggestion to Re-vamp the GC.
I propose it is divided into 3 sections:
1) For real wars between alliances and empires.
2) For fun wars, recruiting for fun wars and discussions about fun wars- organized mayhem, team battles, tournaments etc etc
3) For Roleplay and Race wars- Jedi Vs Sith, Navi vs assasin, Gould vs ancients etc etc.

This will encourage Roleplay and will help to bring fun wars to the forefront because...umm well...they are fun .
It will also help to keep the real war threads clean because they are the ones that need most watching because people tend to get more aggravated.

What do people think?

Sounds like a good plan to me.
It'll also allow for some more specified rules, and has various other benefits.

Instant con would be that it does add another 2 sections to General, which might make the forums a little top-heavy. Then again, what am I saying.


I'm all for it. Moderating that would not be too hard, and I can imagine it working out well for the roleplay and warring itself.

Because traditionally, it is regarded as a basic function of the game.
Much like Stargatewars General [Discussion] and the introductions section, the 'war forum' is an inalienable element of the game.

i like the idea that it would be seperate, and have the four tabs, the three Jim said, and the Vendetta, it fits perfectly and so much easier

Yeah true forgot about vendetta, 4 parts is enough for a new section right?
