Public Negotiations - Yes or no?

This is why I say all this should be done publically.
Seems to me we have a fundamental divergence of oppinions of what negotiations and what ultimatums are lol.
Seriously, let`s lay it all out. All the proposal counterproposal ping pong. Let`s see who is really unreasonable. I`ve said this before, some of this stuff is completley laughable and I`d like to see it defended in the court of public oppinion not just presented as "fact accompili".
Lack of any public insight makes them a playing field for personal frustrations which is the reason why they won`t move an inch.

At request, this topic has been split out of another. It was done because it raises an interesting question specifically in regards to the server war, but more generically in regards to negotiations that are conducted.
Ground rules for the topic are of course to keep it polite and on topic. Spam will be removed and the usual warnings given.

Sounds like a nice idea, that way things will be here for everyone to see and people won't be able to go around arguing whether it was fair or not.

If not mistaken, CIA vs CoPs ending negociating was partly done in public..and it was sorta successful.

I support the idea. Having it public will enable the larger community to keep track of the war and might lead to some actual negotiations.

I want a public negotiation that way people can see what is being said and what deals are being worked. That way no one can say I didn't say that and we can see what is truly being said. Apparently no one knows what was said from last negotiations because every person who was involved in it has a different story.

what makes you guys think, that even if it was public there wouldn't be goings on behind the scenes, and if your that curious, join the server and work your way up to the top, and then you can see what is said!

that is correct
i too would like this idea and think its a better one...
however i dont see why TLE/TTF doesnt just post the past negotiations up on forums then let the responces fill in

That'd work too. Like that idea.

I'm sure the mods and admins of this forum can make a section that only certain people can post, but everyone can view.

*sits down with glasses perched on nose with cardigan on...*
*leans back in chair as FUALL and TTF lie on sofas either side of him*
