Active Farms

Lets say you have a farm that normally has 0 defence and you regularly farm it.
One day you go through your farm list as normal, and one of the farms you end up hitting a defence. This defence is big enough to defend your strike.
What would you normally do?
Mass the defence?
Set Neutral therefore taking the account off your farm list?
Leave it and check again another time to see if it is still there and active?
Or would you do something else?
Do you think that if a farm has built a big enough defence to withstand the farmers strike that the farmer should respect that?
Do you think that if someone repeatedly massed a farms defence each time it built one just because your farm became active is bullying an account?
Has this happened to you as a farmer or farm?

LOL i did this earlier today, guy had 800bill def, 80bill covert, 2 mill UU sitting out, guess what the result of that was.
Back to the question, it would depend on how much they make, and exactly how active they where, if i was turn farming them for a week and they had 0 def, that would suggest they are inactive, if i was turn farming for say 30-40bill / turn, and they suddenly built a def, id let it go that once, but leave them on my list, cause chances are it was built just to deter you, but if they be offline and that naq starts building up nicely, you best have a dam good defense going.

usually leave and see if they go inactive again or miss a ppt making it worth building a bigger strike to get their naq:p

Set neutral, unless they send me a pm to stop farming them.

I usually do this. After 2 weeks or so, if they are still actively maintaining a reasonable defense and rank, I'll set neutral.

Since I started ascending I've only really farmed FUALL. So I get this problem quite often. Funnily enough though, I dont set them to neutral.

I'll usually just move on. Leave them set to war as you can never have to many people on your farm list
