like the title is asking gw is just a game and u don't care?
if your answer is yes share how much time u spend on this game and why?
yes the question is dedicated more for the guys involved in server war but and outside opinions can be intresting

Yup it is just a game, time wise, well im finished ascending, so i log on, bank and repair if needed, check alliance attack logs, if there are vultures ( as enemies have no stats ) i will mass said vulture, maybe take a quick run threw my farms, then log off, sometimes i will put some time in on a day off work, to really farm.

I do play other games though, so i will check in every few hours if im about,

I see some people on the forums take it way to serious and even some of the PM's sent people take it way to serious, even recently i got told i should make a thread to see if people like me or not, i have no need to, as i don't care, its a game, and ill never meet 99.9% of the people that play it, and if i quit it tomorrow i wont talk to 99.9% of the people that play it, i have my friends i introduced to it, and the friends Ive met, other than that........its just a game.

And for my enemies inGAME i will annoy the hell out of you, and piss you off dont get me wrong, but when the war is over, it will be good show, why, cause its all part of the game.

It's a way of life, like one friend from DxM once said.


If you logon regularly, farm regularily, PPT regularily, make sure to not loose the PPT, then you're not just playing the game, you're living the game. Who sais that i'm not right, is full of BS.


I recently returned and despite the fact that i imposed myself to not stay loged on more than 2 hours, i failed... even though, i didn't stayed loged on continuosly, but rather on short periods of time.

Its a place where i've met some great people, a comunity inside a game, a whole world based on its own rules where everyone is equal and vulnerable... (unless you VAC and bad mouth everyone...). I spend more time than i should...

It's a game.. bit addicted

I just 20 $$ on this game to get Supporter status

A game certainly, but not just any game, the most addictive game of all time The only game Ive player longer is VGAPlanets and that only has 2/3 turns per week.

Probably average an hour a night, I say average because some days I do nothing and some days I can leave it alone. Have to say I like the 3 hour timeout, it gives you a reality check

Yeah, just a game and maybe an hour or two a week...

i play all the time, 24/7, i just keep pumping coins in to it, hoping to see the 3 cherries...oh wait, that the other game i play

its an addicting game. I'm proof and so is just about 80% of the people who quit. You keep comming back for more, no matter how much you say you're gonna quit and stuff.

Its still just a game though. I spend probably on a weekly average 12 hours a day on this game. On the forums probably more because I have internet on my phone and I get very bored at work since there isnt much to do.

So if I was to get massed while lets say I was out getting drunk, or out sleeping, or at work... I always think to myself if I got massed while I was sitting online at those times that I got massed I wouldn't have the memories that I have of lets say being with family, friends, girlfriend, or whatever and how boring life would be if all I did was sit on this game 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I guess Ij ust look at the big picture and realise this is just a game. There is a whole world out there. I know if I could see how much of life I've missed just playing this game how much I'd prolly regret it. 5 years of playing this game is a long time.

But if you're gonna play it, might as well not go half ass and you might as well enjoy it 100%. Whether it's getting massed, massing, meeting people from around the world, making $, spending $, building stats, growing, whatever. Everyone has their way of enjoying the game and thats what matters. As long as you enjoy it, who cares what everyone else says. Its a game. Games are meant to be fun and entertaining and competitive.

Its just a game.

But a game im obviously addicted too as i farm at least 3 days a week and log in everyday.

Its all very routine

It's just a game, but human beings have a tendency to become attached to games like they do with everything else. That's why we have football hooligans and marriages which break up over WoW. It's in our nature to become invested in things.

That says more than a whole speach would... I think we each need to be sincere to ourselves when it comes to "addictions" such as GW... otherwise we'll end up like Ashu or Mordack! And i should know!

just an addictive game which most people log into sporadically and randomly, often out of boredom lol
