Ok well seems like this game has become almost devoid of fun. There are still some people who play for fun. So I got a question.

No matter how you play, your style, or what you do. What was the most fun you ever had in this game? Whether it was a convo, massing, building, competition, whatever.

DDE war was a lot of fun, being the underdog with no expectations.

Massing SL's with coyler, seph and the animal is always fun ^^

ANY conversation with DoJ people is funny as hell.

And spamming forumz paticuly T I T A N S and Vampyre

Getting together with Dundee, q3, jamie sheehan, viperman, jaseb, generaloneill and countless other old epa members to reform the EPA. The early parts of being reformed with all the old legends. Planning things. It all ended suddenly when we got dragged into the server war.

Starting wars with actual stats.
then both sides massing adn destroying everything ( b4 epic ms's exsisted)
then after a few weeks fo war one side admitted defeat and a tribute was won.

I'd have to say the most fun I had was when.. the SLA was still around. "Punching bag" or not, they were always fun for some great Goa'uld RP and their own plots. At one point they were trying to hire a masser to take me down, but Merchant I believe tipped me off. Then myself and Ancient Anubis.. or maybe JMX massed the entire SLA. Not to mention when I was in the SLA and Esker in Goa'uld fashion.. removed Tnarg from power and inserted his own puppet leader.

Grizzly, please, you did not get dragged into the server war, EPA declared war on OE. You might have convinced yourselves you 'had no choice' but you did.

Fun for me was early AE when we were building everyone up and the assumed look of shock on Ascended Generations faces when we massed them for massing us. Zaphor was a very fun guy and him and Yamosas did give some great times.

More recently surprising Qacol one day in a MS battle by arming a heap of strike I'd been building was also fun and exciting and the first time I hit plague... fun but annoying with the losses!

And more recently still... massing Lord Talos was great as was the reply (non verbal).

Ahhh JMX, you should join DOJ.

As DR said, our convos are rediculous and happen constantly. We spam like mad when we want to. We mass like nutters when we want. We grow and farm and raid when we want to.

We do things just because.

See this new merger? Why did i do it? Fun.
See the almost 150 pages in the DOJ Vs Nem Core thread? Why did we do it? Fun
See my stupid amount of online battles in the last few days? Fun.
See my random massing? Fun
See people making friends all over the place? Fun.

Fun is what you make, dont expect it to be dished out. Everything you do, enjoy it.

Also, I think one of the most fun online battles i have had was against Yofeehely when we both had nox Medium on. Makes an online battle ALMOST perfect length

The best Times I had was in the beginning days of the war battling blah, I was off work the first week and it was intense, then later on the battles I had with Thamuz. The best days was when ~Qacol~ was TA masser and he was rank 1, and I took him off the rank and an incredibly intense and long ass live battle. There are many team battles we had vs TAM but that particular one was the most epic as I still remember it well.

As for my most amount of fun... Hmm battling Jim Live, That was Fun haha... I just wish my MS was up to the tast of taking him on hehe.

But as for other fun well... I'll be making some over the next few weeks You may see me in youre log and if you do well... its just for fun hahaha!

the most fun id ever had in game aye? id say its likely to be between 2 events.

1. The friendly war with Pure Family. Cool guys no hard feelings and a good learning experience just a ton of fun.

or

2. dealing with all of antistatics "victims" as they sent me ungodly amounts of in game messages lol

The most fun for me would have to be...

1) The 2nd time I ever massed. I decided to join in on the war GA vs CFE. I joined in on CFE's side and did some massing and stuff with my officer, Tactical Commander. We had a ton of fun and some of the events that happened there led to future events. Even had a couple 1 vs 1's with Hensenshi during that war.

2) My time in DD2 and DDE. I did a lot of massing, met a lot of cool people, and we had fun.

3) Convos with Bex and Dean S and some other people I can't remember their names on MSN.

Could former DoJ members save the cheesey recruitment post's to your recruitment thread please? If I see one more cliche crap attempt at making yourselves look good i'll make it a personal mission to make you look bad...

As for my answers to this thread...

I have to say I have several times in mind. When I first signed up with Sidie and Red Dragon back in 05 and we competed to get 1k UP and who could get the better commanders (I got Su they got TaunTaun for any of you who remember him... I then eventually got Esker.. lmoa.. XD, this of course was post my original DDE and Lord Dougy days). Followed by my subsequent conflicts with Predator and Replijake.

Second time has to be debating with wolf, Jenny and GoO on the forums back in November 2005 over the worth of the ascended server, PPT and SS.... though it's turned out to be a very hollow victory four years down the line as I may have been right.. but I wasn't convincing enough and the games gone to hell.

Third time has to be in the first ever wave of Quantum.. where Zetoph and I used to manipulate the race bonus' to favour ourselves... yes a down and dirty thing to do.. but it was very fun and it made the ancients awesomeness when it came to the few race wars there were. The first wave really was chaos and it was a ton of fun.

fourth and most enjoyable times have to be when I fiurst started to interact largely with the other bigger System Lords. The Goa'uld forums were the place to be. REK was the mod... System Lords were men...even the female ones and they fought like men. Osi, Ra, Klorel, Setesh, Nymph, Silk, Blub, Jenny, Flava, AA, Pops and others were around and still very active. Upon my arrival my volitile nature brought me into conflict with JIX and AA mainly as I was a rogue SL. So there was a very brief but very fun shadow war going on there until Jason ratted me out to Omega.

fifth would be fighting the SLA and To ccs with Osi and the other SL's.

Finally would be Nemesis. Had a huge amount of fun being their boss and doing it with Tyber and Duke. I did with Nem in a year.. what most have taken five years to achieve and which some still have not done...seeing it rise.. and fall.

watching a scammer get caught out is fun.
watching ppl falling over themselves for a fake is fun too, even more fun watching them trying to back pedal when they realize its all fake.
