Never played when it was active much, and i enjoy it this way :) lots of farms but i hope it goes back people say it's more fun lol, i guess the biggest thing would be admin Jason not doing anything anymore, no updates since i've started i think lol

Two fold:
1. Lack of updates that are thought out and properly beta-ed.
2. ATs are far to prolific. If ATs were reduced then there would have to be thought once again placed into attacking and farming.

Right, less ATs, and therefore less to do, would make people more active. Image

but more Ats more to waste on randomly massing ppl therefore you would think more about who you were massing...

Well if there was less, people would use them primarily for farming/raiding and at times of war targets would be picked with precision unlike nowadays were anyone can mass an entire empire ;)
Im sure thats what he meant, dosnt mean you have to be less active ;)

Still isn't going to make anyone more active, would most likely have the opposite effect. Image

I think people are becoming inactive as it is because of amount of random massings and allaince wars.
Allaince wars use to be exciting to see in the GC, now they pop up every minute, no need for politics or diplomacy in todays game which alot of people use to like doing and kept many interesting ;)
Winking hurts

i agree the old political Thought fo the game made it alot more enjoyable.
things i remember where the sudden threat levesl adn people untrained stuffed adn reedited their account to be massed and ready to strike back.

or when hostile negotiations lead to peace and all kinds of things.

i look forward to doing it all Again.

The alternative to not changing AT prices, availability or other things is to make massing cost more. It’s already been changed a bit lately but still more would be required to counter balance ATs if that’s what really is causing problems. The other thing would be to make wars winnable, so potentially some way of destroying strike supers without Blood Realm. But those that’s game suggestion rather than general discussion.

We are –meant- to be getting an update soon... those who came to the Admin meeting would have known.

I have to agree with the availability of AT being an issue.

Less AT won't me less activity. It would just mean more combined strikes. If a single member can take out an alliance, then where's the need to be online for the rest of the alliance? If it took 5+ people to take down even 1 person (like a 2x as effective Nox, but only for each player, and NOT for everyone) then people would get online more with their friends to try to take down big targets

Lack of updates is also an issue. If a game is never reset, then updates need to be brought out, to keep the game interesting and fresh. Where as Quantum (i think) is always the same, but reset every 6 months. It allows you to try different things every time, to find the best.

Lastly, is the inability for non-ascended accounts to be able to compete. When you join a game, where it will take you 1.5 months to start to be close to competitive in terms of equivalent power/size, and almost 13 MONTHS to have the same power effectiveness as others in the game. Why would you stick around.

I think there should be an over-haul of non-ascended accounts. Such that you can NOT ascend, and be competitive. Even if it takes the same resources to get you to that level.
