Well Star we have discussed this. @ Byrnes not sure massing us would do any good from an auto reply either. I have spoken with Star no vamp would or even needed to ""HACK"" anyone's computer lol. We all loved Star Scream and was disappointed when you left bud. Sorry all this happened. Tis not a VAMP doing though. I want to make that clea rStar my best answer is you said you gave your lof in details to a buddy. Obviously he was strewing around. There will be an ID check and it will tell us all where it came from. And it WILL not be from a Vamp.. Never give your log in details to anyone mate. I know he was your buddy, but this **Filtered** always happens when something like that is done. I will help mass who ever did this. The thread title is rather confusing so I am not sure if the imply was a VAMP sent youa virus or what?? But definitely would love to see the guy who did this. I would kick him his teethe. P

As Les is a good friend of mine I wanted to say something in response to this ludicrous accusation.

Just like any forum the email notifications of new replies is automatically generated by the forum. The is NO human interaction in the creation of the emails except for someone replying to a post which triggers the creation of the automatic notification.

There is no way anyone, not even the admin of the vamps forum or any other forum can generate such an email with a virus attached.

Maybe that's because of the contents of your posts on those forums? Have you even asked the admins of those forums what happened to your posts?.... thought not.

Virus don't get on one's PC from just opening an email, it has to be from downloading and opening an attachment on the email, or clicking a link in the email.

Now I assume you clicked the link in the email to view the new post on the vamps forum? it could be possible that if they have adverts on their websites that there could be a malicious advert with a trojan threat. Again this is not something vamps would have control over.

Sounds like a low attempt at going in to hiding ingame so no-one knows who you are. if that's true then it's very low of you to do that.

Fact is viruses/trojans can come from anywhere, pop-ups, banners, links, from forums, websites, MSN etc. Trojans can sit on one's PC for days, weeks even months before it activates. AntiVirus could pick it up anytime after the AV software updates, so you have NO proof where this "so called" virus came from.

To me it sounds like an attempt to slander Vamps because for whatever reason you left them. And now you are using this attempt to change your email, username and trying to change your ID so that you have a fresh start without anyone including Vamps to know who you are.

In his application topic all his posts were edited out, and a false id was left, also a fake email was set. I don't think he wants to talk bad about the Vamps, or that he is trying to hide cause he contacted me. If he was hacked, it was someone with sgw access as the id left was from ingame.

well this is very easy, since today i got few pm's from him and looks the first 3 pm's were from the unknown and the last asking me to boot him from the real owner , admin can check who logged and see IP's and query using those ip's hopping to that one could match another account.

smth weird is going on , on this case. its worth a check

as per doc they are co-worker , i did a lil search and look he used to be doc officer which i massed one lol and due to some pm's i suspected he was a feeder account or a multie of smone

Of course he used to be my officer I introduced him to the game and wanted to look after his attack logs and help him out. Are you honestly trying to say there is something fishy about a friend being an officer? The only reason he stopped being my officer is because brothers from FS started massing my officers (you did as well Lithium) due to the DDE -v- FS war and the server war.

This is of course the exact same reason Joetheboost stopped being my officer. I was in Rogue Squadron from the moment i started playing this game and Joetheboost was and still is in that alliance. From there he was my office because we became friends.

I think it is a LOT stranger that my mates account gets hacked and within a day of it getting hacked it ends up being your officer. The very account owned by the person who you, Lithium, asked to try and get my DDE forum info for to get one over on DDE.
