Who's 'we'?
What's not to love? Great story lines, and the cast burst into song at least 3 times an episode.

My roommate likes it, but he also likes Everybody Loves Raymond, so maybe I should think twice before I take his advice.

I do not know what this means, or what this show has to do with, but after reading 'Musical' and 'Highschool', somebody shoot me. :P

So?

Sometimes I do wish I was back in High School. It was a happy time; no responsibility, no pressure and the blissful thrill of youthful naivety and passion. The great irony being that I never appreciated any of it at the time. I was too busy waiting to grow up. On bad days, I'd give a lot to go back to how I was when I was seventeen.

Glee is cheesy. Bits of it are cringey (especially the showtunes), but it's silly and it's feelgood. It's well written, and occasionally it has moments of surprising depth and clarity. There's one scene in particular which made the whole thing worthwhile for me. I say take it as it comes, enjoy the good bits and appreciate that it's a over-the-top glamorized and extremely satirized account of what growing up was like for a lot of people.

Thanks Mordack, I completely agree.
Alot of it has meaning, it's just covered up with song and dance to make light of the program. I think it's really well written and it brings a smile to my face every Monday night :). I too think that my high school days were the best, most enjoyable years of my life and most days would give anything to go back to them. And Earendil.. you must watch it to know?
