Do i only need 450kk to make a mothership or do i need uu too?

And how much do the upgrades cost?

You just need 450 million naquadah for the mothership, nothing else. The capacity upgrades start at around 15k and go up from there, and each weapon costs a little over 2 million.

I would suggest that you have at least another 500mill ontop of the 450 so you can outfit your M/S properly. I've spent nearly 3billion on mine and it barly made a dent.

What level sheild/nuke is your mothership up too ? (assuming you've also bought teh weapons :p )

It's ranked about 250...
A little over 1bill def, and 700mill off.


Slots are costing more than the weapons at this point...
4+ mill for defesive and 3+ for offensive....
Still, in many ways it's cheaper to build up the M/S than normal defense/offence.

But i'm going to spend more... much more... it is indeed the money pit it has been touted as

Heh, but to help teh noob.......... invest in X302's (Or whatever your civ's most powerful Offensive weapon is), get approx 1,000 of those and elete soldiers (SS, NID, whatever) and youll dominate the lower rankins long enough to build up.
