I'm going to give up one of my best farms to get the answer to this,
so I hope it's worth it...

I don't know for sure if it's a bug...

I don't know if it was intended to be a **Filtered** feature...

but I'm tired of it...

I do know that it applies to a lot of my farms...

some are named Asgard, some are not...
Some have clones, these three listed below do not...

Stats are from VERY inactive accounts...
please check before warning me...

In battle, you distinctly felt the surge of energy infusing your army - from exactly where you are not sure - some higher plane, maybe ... You fought with a strength that was well above your own...

It was bad enough when one could identify an Asgard...
and avoid them...

When their names changed, I looked for
Race Unique Tech: Holographic Planet Duplication...
in the recons... or Asgard 8 Symbol Gate Dial Planet on their stats page...

but that doesn't work either...

So, um, tell me, please...
how do I find out if a player has Hologram Technology without wasting my Attack Turns?

And if this isn't the best way to get Jason's attention...
please let me know...

Lol you just hit a nerve i have given up trying to help unascended players because of the fact I find it impossible to find out what bonuses they have and where and what techs proberly :s.

Hologram is the Asgard's unique tech when getting attacked.

Just as Replicators regenerate self killed units when attacking.

Goa'uld's capture enemy's dead units when attacking.

and I believe it was Tauri that had the ability to leave battle with out taking any losses whatsoever when attacking or getting attacked..

Ascended beings had the unique tech of hitting an ascended blessing attacking or defending, which doubled attack and defense depending on which one.

Asgard, was the Defense bonus.

Replicator, was the Covert bonus.

Goa'uld was the Income bonus, with free banking.

Tauri, was the Strike bonus.

Every race had the ability to use their unique tech randomly even without the techs purchased, the techs purchased just made it happen more frequently.

So really if you don't want a hologram, avoid hitting asgards, and if they have a custom race name, maybe avoid unascended's with a custom race name...

M8 its not that easy anymore.

I have seen people with the bonus of a tauri, tech of a replicator.

And it took me ages to find that out because the person was a noob to tell what he had chosen in the menu.

So mixin tech and bonus seems possible from what i can see.

I just wished admin made it easy new names and all.

none of those three targets have HoloCity or HoloPlanet Duplication...

which I bolded at the end of my first post to identify what you are looking for in a person with legit Hologram Technology...

In the recon report, you should see:
Race Unique Tech: Holographic Planet Duplication...

These three inactive *Filtered*'s are generating Holograms in my logs
without a *Filtered* Hologram Generator in their Realm!!


However, the presence of Asgard techs should actually be present on the stats page...

Because, according to the Update, Techs are bought as a bunch...

just like Bonuses are bought as a bunch...

So an Hologram Generating City or Planet also needs to have

At this point, I'd settle for having to spy each target and looking for this:

M8 thats because of following thing:

Race Social Structure (units): <--- i have seen that change the names of the tech even tho you have the techs after something else.

It might be a bug but if someone take the Social structure of Human but tech of Asgard then i have seen the techs be names after the old Tauri race stuff but they actually have Asgard techs aka holygram planet.

So thats why i say its pretty much almost impossible to see what the people have of tech and bonuses these days .
