Okay, I think these are two questions everyone has been wondering:

1) What's the optimum ratio of MS Shields to MS Weapons?

2) What's the optimum ratio of MS Shields to MS Fleets...
(not 1 million Shields to 10,000 Fleets, thank you... )

1) 50/50 imo
2) no fleets. Just sell them and buy when you need. Since you can't sell MS weapons etc

1: Ive always gone 50/50 in shields to weapons really but depends alot on what you want to do... Shields will help you drop your rank really quickly and help to keep your weapons from being burned up if you farm lots of actives. Weapons are just nice to add to your strike (which ive been focusing more on lately, got a bit shield heavy.

Fleets are sorta uneconomical unless taking planets.

Possibly. But their better off selling at 20% loss, then running the chance of having them massed by an anygry planet loss account

fleets are like weapons... 50% loss...

and it depends on how good you are at keeping your mothership out looking for planets when you are out stealing them or on PPT.

since they always come back in 24 hours,
that's pretty easy to keep track of, most the time...
which is why we have PPT...
