Just read in a gaming magazine that SGW (Stargate Worlds) got cancelled due to the upcoming bankrupt of Cheyenne Mountains, the developer of the MMO.
So TGW will be upcoming time the only succesfull MMO with Stargate ties

I was kinda stoked about that game in 2008... but it was taking forever for anything to get done with that game. Basically it was a team based First person shooter. Your team would travel through stargates and attack/defend new worlds or something like that. Would have been pretty epic if they could have pulled it off.

It used to be.

Back in the late nineties. I think the Millennium Bug chased it out of idiom though.
That game only worked, oh irony, on the shows.

Awesome.
Now Jason/Jaason can ask to MGM to get the stargate related things in sgw back.
Sadly it's also a matter of copyright, so I doubt it's possible.

I heard that the game hasn't been canceled but the producer has some major financial problems

Well, that's what i don't understand about MGM. Why not let Jason buy the rights to use the names, and get royalties off it. Or better still, advertise it themselves, and make revenue off it.
I'd personally like to get back to the good old days of like 1-2 years ago, when it was Stargate Wars, and not MMOWars

Me too , we should talk with jason about this
In my opinion this game is going down , and the only way to reverse that is going back to the old style

No, he is right, check the SGW forums and site.
The game has been placed on hold indefinitely due to CM going bankrupt.
