I thought he was amazing. Really good. Really, really good.

He could very well end up being my favorite Doctor of all time.

If I recall correctly, 12 is the traditional Timelord regeneration limit.

No doubt the writers will find a way to get around it, though.

Amelia Pond is a hottie

New Dr Talks like and reminds me a bit of one of the old Dr's, the one who was dull and wore a Cricket vest, cant remember his name. Not sure if I like this new guy yet

Upcoming episodes do look good, all the old favs, Cyberman & Daleks, hope they face the Timelords HC again soon.

I think it was 10 regenerations at one point, I remember an episode where the Dr counted them because he had 7 left and 7 alien things wanted to transfer 1 each off him. Dont matter though, the last few Dr's have not mentioned a limit on number of regenerations at all, and that means Dr Who can go on forever :D

12 regenerations, 13 lives

it is possible to live beyond this, The Master reached the end of his 13 life years ago

At first I didn't much like it.....the whole spitting food around the kitchen was a bit random. But he definitely grew on me as the Doctor....has a certain madness about him that some of the more recent haven't: "I am a definitely a madman with a box".

And yeah, it always helps having a kissogram as an assistant. I liked both Rose and Martha Jones, but Donna Noble nearly stopped me watching.....hopefully the new Doctor and assistant will have some good chemistry.

Couldnt agree with you more, Rose we all loved, Martha had a hard time following her but was alright, then that bloody Donna character was just ugly and annoying, not a good combination. The new girl is hot and funny, think Im gonna like her :D

Have you seen some of the criticisms? She's apparently too hot for Dr Who.....kissogram and short skirts....what's wrong with that? :smt047

I loved the music in several places, especially the little tune when the doctor is changing shirts. And I liked the slightly melodramatic: "Is this planet protected?.....Basically, run!"

Aint nothing wrong with a kissogram in a short skirt :D

Great mood music throughout all the new series, but my favourite actual song played is 'I cant decide' by the Scissor Sisters when the Dr faced the Master, perfectly weird for the scene

Looking forward the one with the Deleks in the trenches

Yes! That was fantastic. It should have been too camp and too ridiculous for television, but it just came off as creepy and psychotic. It was a highlight for me as well.

And too hot for Doctor Who?

I guess people got too used to Catherine Tate. There was this one assistant in the seventies, Tom Baker I think, who ran around in what was essentially two pieces of cloth draped over her extremities.

*frown* Now I must see this. Because, the way it is.. I'm suddenly running behind on Who.
What. I've seen what, thousands of episodes. It's brilliant.

OMG I almost forget about her, the hot primitive warrior women who pulled a knife on everyone. I suppose the real difference is younger Dr's and a bit of romance in the new series. No matter how hot the old assistants were you never got the impression that the old Dr's had any sexual interest in them.
