R.I.P. Affy's Second-In-Command

Many of you have long been faithful and avid friends of old man Affy and have listened to my crazy ramblings and I appreciate it, I really do. Aside from the SGW games comes my favorite part which is the e-relationships gained from long time Chats and PMs with many of you. I am sure that many of those that buzzes Affy has had a chance to catch me in one of my infamous "late night Dog Pissing" episodes, whichs comes from many long years of having two old friends who have grown accustomed to banging in Affy's bedroom door at 3AM and waking the old man to force me into a late night dog walk. I have been trained to obey my long time "man's best friends" or face the prospect of cleaning up dog pee lest I shirk my duties. I like to think I trained the dogs but any of you who have owned a long time pet knows they eventually train you to their liking.
Anyway, there is less joy in Affy's house and I lack my usual wit and humor on the keyboard as Affy had to put down one of my faithful farmstead guardians this past Easter weekend, as after 13.5 years my 130 pounds (about 60 Kgs) Black Lab fell paralyzed on his back hips and legs from a common neuralogical genetic issue with older Labradors, and had to be euthanized. Needless to say, Mrs. Affy and the family were not a joyful bunch this Easter. Jesus may have come back from the dead long ago around that time but Affy's poor old pet will not be coming to wake me any more for the late night walks. His momma dog, the 90 pound black Lab of 14.5 years still lives, so I will be up anyway, it just will not be the same.
I think the dogs are 50% of the reason you get Daffy-Affy's and Bad Affy's 3AM Forum romps, but for now the joy has left a little in honor of such a long time faithful companion. I still have all of you but it is not the same since you guys don't eat me out of a hundred pounds of dog food a week!!
I once put a Pic of this grand old dog out at Xmas, to show everyone my "Second-in-Command" of Affy's armies. My daughter has a thing with dressing the dogs in Antlers at Christmas, and he was never one to shy away from suffering a family indignity to please his owners. Such is a dog's life, and this one will be missed...
(Now to get perspective, Affy is sitting in a chair, and I am no small fry at 6 feet and a inch and about 275 pounds, so this Dog is no small affair!! HAHA)
From Affy, to a grand old companion!! My army will never be the same...
