some of my officers have sent me messages that apon joining me after the next turn their income dropped.
this dosnt make sense as regardless of my income bonus their income should infact increase.

or this in affect something i read in the officer/co relation that being Commanderless indeed increase's your natural income.
thats all fine adn good but when your income drops 2 bill a turn i find it abit odd.

Also moments ago my officer bonus in unit production just died from 940k to 745k.

with no real change in officer up's i dont understand what has happened :S
and yes my income is still set to 30%

Consider this.

They have a income of 22B, which is 20B + 10% for having no CO. Lets say you have a income of 33b, at 30% that's about 3b to officers. If you have 10 officers, that's a bonus they get from you of 300m/turn. But they also LOOSE the 2b from themselves. So it's a net LOSS of 1.7b Naq/turn.

The only thing i can think of with the UP, is that one of the guys with a LARGE RAW up ascended or something

really puts into question is it worth having a Commander any more??

Sure it is. Especially if your trying to keep your army size low for buying UU to war with, but still want a good income.

The question arises more so when your CO has like 10 officers...
