Actually, you are incorrect. Perseus is the son of Zeus. He impregnated Perseus's mother after she was locked away by her father (who was informed that he would die by his daughter's son). Posiedon had multiple children, but the most famous are the Cyclops (for obvious reasons), Theseus (founder of Athens), and Triton (Herald of the Sea). The film did get the story of his mother wrong, however.
It also had numerous other mythological things wrong with it. Which I already stated.
