Question 1.
Erm, if I have 10 Jaffa army and 5 Staff weapons, 5 of the Jaffa with have a staff right?
Now If I have 10 Jaffa and ..... 5 supersoldiers, and 5 Staff weapons in total, will the supersoldiers have nothing? i dont gettit, if a jaffa/super soldier has no weapon then...... can he do nothing?does a soldier do anything withought a weapon from the armory?
Question 2.
I can buy a "full jaffa division", does that count as a weapon for a jaffa?.. it doesn'T make sense, theres a jaffa and he pulls out a devision of jaffas to kill someone
Question 3.
Im a stargate freak, but, whats with the targated gate weapon? its that weapon that Anubis used right? so...if i get 5 of them do 5 jaffa get a huge wonkin big weapon like that? does that count as a single weapon? (this weapon should actually belong to the ancients)
Im sorry, im a noob, I have to ask this coz its been buggin me since the start

Answer 1.
The most powerful weapons go to the most powerful soldiers so your 5 Super Soldiers will get the staff weapons and the other 10 Jaffa will raise their eyebrows at the enemy.
Answer 2.
Yes it doesn't really make sense but it is a weapon for a single Jaffa. It might help to think of all your Jaffa as Captains who get control of a Jaffa division.
Answer 3.
Yes, one Jaffa with one giant energy firing slingshot surrounded by an ultra-cool laser fence.
5 Equipped Jaffa = Overkill.
And yes technically it should be Ancient but the poor Goa'uld need something right?

1: Jaffa with no weapon don't add any attack or defense values to your total, but they still go with an attack or try and defend, just they do no damage. When you only have a few it's no real problem, but when you start to get over 100 soldiers in total you can start loosing men, for this reason it's better to get them enough weapons, even the lowest ones, so they at least contribute something to the attack/defense.
If you had 5 supers and 5 jaffa, but only 5 weapons, the supers will take them and the jaffa will be unarmed. Also worth noting that supers are a more effecient attacker or defender after you factor in weapon costs, plus they are less likely to be killed in battle than normal Jaffa, the drawback is they cannot be untrained, once they are made into supers, that's it until death
2: Yes, this confused me at 1st. Bear in mind this is a game and as such the weapon values are what counts, not the weapon names. A "full jaffa division" is just a weapon type, you don't actually get more jaffa. I got caught out by this at 1st too, it was a bit confusing to say the least. Same goes for defense weapons, a Sarcophagus doesn't let your troops rise from the dead, it's just a defense weapon.
3: Targetted Gate weapons are the top attack weapons. Like i said above, it's just a name for the weapon. As for when it was used in the TV series then i am 99% sure SG-1 used it to try and stop the Prior of the Ori on the planet they were invading. Basically it's a naquadah enhanced Nuke that is designed to be stuck near a stargate so it uses the gate's own Naquadah content to amplify the blast to planet destroying proportions...On the off-chance you have not seen the episode in question i'll say no more.
NP, ask away, if you think of anything else i or someone else will do our best to answer you.

Short guide I made for someone else, but here it is anyway:
1) The most important thing in the game is Unit Production\Amount of Untrained Units. This is what drives you ability to make money (as miners), spy (as covert), defend (guards\super guards) and attack (jaffa\super soldier).
2) Only buy the best weapon. The most expensive weapon gives you the most strength for cost out of all the weapons, being (I am not as certain, my ascended weapons are different) about 3 times as expensive as the 2nd highest weapon, but 4-5 times more powerfull.
3) Always buy supers. They double the power of a weapon. If used in conjunction with 2), you will have 2 weapons worth of strength\power, for the cost of one and a half. This works for defence and offensive weapons.
4) Attack farms when ranked lower. Get about 10 million strike, and attack people with no defence, spy first, but generally, from rank page 250 onwards, these are filled with no defence farms. On 50 million strike, almost never have to replace supers, and even if I attack 10 people with 15 turn attacks, only pay about a million to repair, and make 20 million or more for the attack. Build your strike, then UU, then start on defence.
5) Don't bother with mercs, or the tech for them. WAY to expensive tech wise, for little gain. If you are always using supers, you have no need for mercs anyway.
thanks

Question 4.
cam someone explain to me the difference between jaffa raiders and defenders, lets just say (i dont want to give my stats away) i have 5 jaffa defenders and 5 death gliders, so these fly around my pyramid allday waiting for an attack?
and...lets say i have 5 jaffa raiders and 5 death gliders..... do these guys wait in the pyramid for me (as their god) to say "yo fly to X planet and attack their base", do they help defend my pyramid too?

In-game defence and attack are completely seperate. You buy attack weapons and soldiers for attacking, and defence soldiers for defending. They only do their job either attacking, or defending.
And yep, same as from gateworld.

OH NO!!!!!NOOOOO!!!! so jaffa raiders need attack weapons, and jaffa guards need defending weapons?
NOOOO gues how i thought it was (and did it like this:): loads of guards, ive given them defending weapons, and bought them gliders! LOL! so the gliders are just sitting there with no one in them LOL!
i guess i have to train raiders for the loads of gliders i have!!
thanks mack!

Just remember than 1 super soldier and 1 of the best weapons (I think targeted gate weapon) are better than LOTS of the cheaper weapons.
Even 1 super and 1 ultimate weapon can get you farming people.

erm.....but can a guard fight back? or just defend himself? because i want my jaffa to fight the attack (as in DEFEND the pyramid ie fight back!)

hmmmm....but does a guard fight back? as in, inflict damage on the attackers? or does he just defend himself, thats pretty pointless....i want the attackers to come....and be attacked, is that what the guards do?

Jaffa guards defend you, Jaffa Raiders attack, they are not interchangible. Likewise Guards use defense weapons and raiders use attack weapons and as above they are no interchangible.
You can use the training screen to Untrain Jaffa raiders and/or guards (not supers of either type, bear that in mind) back to untrained units, then retrain them back to your preferred type. Weapons you don't want can be sold, you don't get as much as you paid for them, but such is life, we all made mistakes when we were new

Not as such, they do inflict damage, but only on enemy attackers. They don't help when YOU attack though. Basically if you send in a Bunch of Jaffa Raiders to try and steal someones naq, the enemy will use their Guards, if they have any with weapons, to try and beat you off. If they attacked you back they would send their Raiders and your Guards would try and stop them.
Basically your Attack Strength Stat is compared to the enemies Defense Strength Stat when you attack, the higher will win, this is modified by rank, defenders get a boost if the defending player is weaker by rank. So if you want to defend you need guards and defense weapons, if you want to attack you need raiders and attack weapons. Spys and Covert levels let you have a chance at seeing what the potential enemy has as an army so training some spys and boosting covert is always good.
