Weapon,unit names.

Ok so how about we get to change our weapons names and Unit names?


It will be such more fun and since random races have come into play the current names are oblolete.


What do you guys think?

I'm not sure this is a good idea, unless you leave the prefix of "Super" for attach and defence. And even then, not so good

I say this, because what happens if someone for example, swaps the names over. So it looks like they only have 1 attack unit, and a large strike, but in reality, its a large defence, and a farming attack unit.

To do this, i would recommend adding a (*unit name*) at the end of the names. So people can clarify.

Ok but to be honest you really want me to go through old files when i could esyily do a new topic and if its been said already they can lock it.

And when you spy them? How do you tell what is what? Without a point of reference? And what is to stop people swapping all the names over form the originals.

Intel logs would give the weapon power... #-o

and how do you work out covert/AC? Or making the power of Attack and defence the same.

A good example, the Tauri and Asguard. How would you work it out? If the names were completely different, and you didn't know the original power of the attack or defence weapon

](*,) Umm... you're already choosing a Tech path which will determine all of that. All you're doing is replacing the names of the weapons and soldiers already used on that tech path. #-o

You do no this can be for just 1 person or number of people you dont have to change names for everybody it just be like changing your race name.

Which supports my point. What happens when people just swap 2 names over, to confuse. Is there any other reason then the one i can foresee "well then that's a new tactic to use to hide things"

It was a suggestion made to add to the customization of the RPG aspect of this game. If you were to have a bunch of Jedis as your race, wouldn't it make sense to be able to allow them to have lightsabers?

It's not like anyone really cares about the predefined values of weapons and which weapon is which. 90% of the players buy the best weapons anyways with the other 10% buying multiple weapons to protect from sabbing. Even if you were to sab, you'd get an intel log to find out how many of each weapon they have. Name's not that important. Just the number and quantity.

And all I'm trying to say is that it'll be exploited to hide what is actually there
