I'm just wondering why is it that some players are just how can i say it... jerks. I've had this person farming me for a few weeks and when I retailiate defending myself I then get massed just because I attacked in self defence. Whats the point of fighting when you aren't even allowed to defend yourself against other players because if you do you will just get massed?

(I politely asked him to stop and explained why I attacked him, but obviously he is very mature because his response was to mass me again, so I guess the only answer is to return the favour. Just curious though are there that many immature people on here that won't even reply to reason?)

edit - I know that I may seem like a newbie, but I haven't used the forums before now and I have been on the site for a while!

No.. they remember it is a game. In which case they can do just about anything they couldn't normally. They can be a douche.. because they can and power corrupts. Its like the whole guard/inmates experiment, and from the looks of it.. you're an inmate.

Mass or be massed. That's the way the game is played. The sooner you learn to stick up for yourself and learn to adjust, the easier this game will be for you.
Raid more than you train.
Farm more than your turn income.

That's the entire game in a nutshell.

Yes there's always someone who doesn't listen to reason.... or maybe that is the persona they chose to take on when playing this game. A persona of someone that doesn't "do" communication or negotiation and is in it for the fight and the fight alone....... does that make them a jerk?..... no i don't think so.
