I have decided I want a Monkey Tail, Is it possible, to get it surgically added, and or alter me in some way Further more, if possible I would also like Wings Please Discuss

and i would like to fly the cosmos in the Millennium Falcon...not going to happen any time soon i'm afraid...

btw, i do believe the title of this part of the forum is "General intelligent discussion topics"

Body modification is a very valid subject.
The manner in which it is presented doesn't disqualify it.. although, it is a niche subject.

Actually, it is not impossible.
It is just a rather expensive thing.


A monkey tail is more doable than wings, as is to be expected.

Why do you want them, RoKeT?



Just look up:
Katzen, the Lizardman and Stelarc, for example.

Of course you could attach a tail, but how much control would you have over it? Or would it just dangle there.....

*grin* One would trip, probably.

It would be very possible to have a tail & have control over it by reactivating the DNA sequence/Genes/RNA messengers that are still in our genetic makeup but lie dormant from a time when we used to have a tail.

As for wings, you could do it with significant genetic & biomechanical engineering but it wouldnt be easy to have usable wings and would probably be painful but still within the realms of possibility (albeit at the rather extreme end of possibility atm)

But to what benefit? Use? Need or bother to have addition attachments, it would make you abnormal.

You wouldnt have control over it. And, it would just slowly rot.

Not mentioning that if it were grafted on it would be rejected.

Why would I want a tail? Why WOULDN'T I, I could Grab a soda while facing the other way, I could hang from a tree , It would be Epic, and Wings, Well who wouldn't want to fly, Never again needing a car, If I could Fly Flying the air, IDK it would be cool, lol I doubt it is possible, but if it was wouldn't it be awesome!

Both are possible, highly so just not really practical at the moment given what we can directly implement compared to our theorectical knowledge.

Out of the two tho a tail is the easiest option and the one that will not only be possible but allow you to have the most control over it (despite the views of other folks who tihnk that genetic engineering is anathema)
