i for 1 utterly hate and despise the cluttered look of the new Google, so i went on a hunt to find out how to get my old look back...SUCCESS!

this will only work with FF and Chrome...nothing for IE coz nobody likes it

Funny how google changes almost just after youtube did...both having barely changed in the last years until 2010 started.

i was thinking that last night while trying to figure out where the "OFF" option was for new side bar...damned ugly thing getting in the way of my nice clean searches

not really. you DO realise Google own youtube now, right? this I think is part of a corporate rebranding/reimaging or whatever you want to call it. working one into the other, aligning both site's styles.
