Yes but it would take alot more orginization... and there would be no more bullying because you could still work with your friends people just wouldn't ever know...

yeah, nothing would change, there would still be forums and msn and teamspeak and irc. also, it would just make it harder to know who to mass in a war?

Qunatum had a wave with no alliances before, people just changed their names and added [alliance name] before or after their names.
